He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Isbell Saylor; his parents, Willie Eugene Saylor and Effie Turner Saylor; his brother Eugene; his grandson Nathan; and his son-in-law Mike Bryant.
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Susan) of Pelzer, SC, Charlie (Joy) of Roswell, GA and Kay Bryant of Caswell Beach, NC; and his sister Wanda Palmer (Harry) of Mebane, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
