It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan L Austin in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan L Austin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert R Lipscomb and Hattie B Lipscomb; her husband Bill Austin; her son David; and her sister Peggy Golden.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jeranek (Ed) of Tega Cay, SC, Mike (Jill) of Charlotte and Bob of Mooresville; her siblings, Joyce Rose of Okeechobee, FL and Albert Lipscomb of Reno, NV; and her grandchildren, Kyle Austin and Natalie Austin. She is also survived by two great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
