She was predeceased by: her parents, Sumpter B. Cook and Margarette Cook; and her sister Deanna Cook Rushen. She is survived by: her husband Mike Parks; her sister Beverly Cook Putnam (Jim) of Kings Mountain, NC; her nephew Clay Putnam (Natalie) of Boiling Springs, NC; her niece Debbie Dunlap; her great-nephews, Gray, Spencer and Sullivan Putnam; her cousin Anne Dulin Joyner (Leon) of Greensboro, NC; and her caregivers, Keren Calderon and Alicia LaLoggia.
