He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Edwards and Flora Edwards; and his sisters, Catherine, Georgie, Helen, Lubert, Nell and Novella.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Wayne Edwards (Annette), Scott Edwards (Pam) and Kimberly Bissonnette (Douglas); his grandchildren, Brandi Valladares (Eddy), Terry Edwards (Allina), Amanda Harris (Michael), Daniel Edwards (Emily), Alyssa Bissonnette and Alex Bissonnette; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Emily, Adrienne and Victoria; his great great grandchild Katherine; and his siblings, AB Edwards, Betty Daniels and Clara Cox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home (12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC 28075). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
