We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2024, at the age of 94, Ida Katherine Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Huntersville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrain Berry and Nellie Henderson Berry; her husband Charles Edward Brown, Sr.; her son Charles Edward Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph Berry, Mary Ann Barringer, Edna Barringer, Lucy Ross, Dora Davis and Katie McNeely.
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn B. Johnson (Artis), Donna S. Washington (Joseph), Windy Y. Bellamy (Michael) and Stacy M. Brown. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grand-children, three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
