It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Sadler Gurganus of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ella Mae Walker Sadler; and her grandmother Gail. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Robinson and Ellen Gurganus; her grandchildren, Jami Hooper, Kate Newkirk (David) and Trey Robinson (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Samuel Newkirk; her brother Frank Sadler (Lois); her family, Kim Townsend and Sue Walters; her close friend Peggy Wilson; and her pet Murray Charles. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
