It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Elijah Brinson of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Christine and Elijah Richardson; his siblings, Stephen Tyrone Brinson and Christine Yvette McLaughilin; his daughter Abigail Taylor; and his granddaughter Jamyia Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Patrice Hardmon Brinson; his daughter Taisha Winborn; his siblings, Charletta Maria Nealy, Dwayne Allen Brinson and Salyima Renee McLaughilin; and his grandchildren, Emahni Joyner, Isaiah Taylor III, Kamiah Winborn, Kannon Winborn and Karson Moss. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.
