He is survived by: his children, Warren Patrick Cornelius and Leslee Ann Cornelius of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Maggie, Emilie, James and Davis Cornelius of Virginia Beach; and his sisters, Loretta Cornelius Kahn of Jacksonville and Nancy Cornelius House of Charlotte.
