He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Diggs and Norma Diggs; and his nephew Evan Diggs. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Jean Diggs; his brothers, James Henry Diggs III (Jo Anne), John Charles Diggs (Barbara Reeves) and Fred Edgar Diggs (Chris); his sisters-in-law, Julia Moore (Steve Hull) and Sally Petty (Garland); and his nieces and nephews, Jamey Anne Croft, Jonathan Diggs, Katherine Diggs, Timothy Diggs, Brynn Tichy, Galen Diggs, Elizabeth Hull and Daniel Hull.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the columbarium at Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
