It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Eleanor Snyder of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Bonnie Lee Bassett. She is survived by: her mother Wanita Bassett (Raysinger); her sister Roberta; her brother-in-law Fred Kirkman of Chapel Hill, NC; and her nephew Jordan Bassett-Coffin.
To honor Roo's compassionate and loving spirit, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the American Heart Association, Paws4ever in Mebane, the Veterinary Care Charitable Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
