She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Elsa Murphy; her grandson Karl M. Murphy, Jr. of Chapel Hill, NC; her great grandchildren, Maya Murphy and Ryan Murphy of Chapel Hill, NC.; and her sisters-in-law, Louise Weston of New Paitz, NY and Betty Murphy of Highland, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
