It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Amidon (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Amidon and Mildred Amidon; and his siblings, Lois S. Gray and Alton L. Amidon. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Amidon; his children, Cathy E. Clifton (Carl), Lee A. House, Barbara E. Powell, Renae L. Wilson, John D. Amidon (Karren) and Troy Wilson (Ellen); and his niece Martha McLaulin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
