“I've only just heard of Charles's passing, and I'm deeply saddened as Charles was my best friend in highschool. Charles and I lost touch as I moved out west and then to several other countries, but I never stopped thinking about Charles and his wonderful gifts. Charles and I had great times as teenagers, times I cherish. I so admired Charles's parents and sister, Meriam, as well, all wonderful and accomplished people. I'm so fortunate to have crossed paths with the whole family. Bless you.”
