“I was saddened to hear that Barbara had passed. At the Sherman Library book club she was welcoming, enthusiastic, and genuine. Book clubs sometimes have a reputation of a get together where the book is barely a part. It was because of Barbara's passion for the book (and the NY Times review) that I continue today with the club. She made amicable disagreement and discourse safe..and expected! I knowthat her spirit will remain with me...I am thankful for being able to have known her. Chris”
