He is survived by: his wife Mary Jeanne; his children, Bill Thornton of Clyde, Clinton Thornton of Fort Myers and Jamie Thornton of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Matthew, Madison, Dominic, Ava, Landon and Sam; and his sister Kay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
