It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Magdelena Shipman of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Farida Foster and Jennie Lee Green Dotson; her significant other Arthur Hardin Shipman; and her brothers, Thomas and Troy Dotson. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
