It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger L. Sutton of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee Sutton. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Yates Sutton; his daughter Yancey Sutton (Cody McFarland); his siblings, Phyllis S. Wheeler (Steve Hipps) and Ricky Sutton of Canton; and his grandchildren, Knox and Nash.

Memorials may be made to the scholarship fund for his grandchildren at Champion Credit Union, 1 Academy St., Canton, NC 28716.
