With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Josephine Cogburn of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Brown and Georgia Plemmons Morgan; her husband Robert "Bobby" Cogburn; and her brother LaRue Morgan. She is survived by: her stepfather Horace Singleton; her children, DeAna Flynn (Jimmy) of Canton and Barry Cogburn (Kathy) of Canton; her grandchildren, Brandy Mathews of Canton, Tasha Mathews of Canton, Megan Cogburn Woods of Canton, Lynn Sisti of Canton and Angel Sisti Stockton of Canton; and her great grandchildren, Devon Cabe, Emorie Gibson, Kolby Woods, Adley Stockton, Ellie Sisti, Everleigh Sisti, Cayla Whitener and Hunter Whitener.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Residents Activity Fund at Autumn Care, 360 Old Balsam Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.
