He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Lee and Virginia Edith Fuller Stephenson; his former wife Barbara Conard Stephenson; and his brother Roy Lee Stephenson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lovin Stephenson; his children, Kellie Bell (Billy) of Hendersonville, Dawn Kelley (George) of Hickory, Steve Kelley (Tina) of Canton and Kenny Stephenson (Becky) of Hendersonville; his siblings, Clara Sumner (Mark) of Sylva and Jack Stephenson (Valerie) of Idaho; his grandchildren, Makaela Smith, Logan Bell, Heidi Kelley, Makenzie Stephenson, Katie Bell, Carson Moser, Emily and Sarah; and his daughter Mary Beth Davis. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
