It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Gerlene Kirkland of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bobby "Gene"; her sister Christine; her children, Melanie (Freddy Keilman) and Jeffery; her grandchildren, Daniel and Julia Phillips; her parents, Ennis Tilson and Daffia Tilson (Campbell) of Franklin, NC.; and her sister-in-law Judy. She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canton Wesleyan Church..
