It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Harris Jr. (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Steamer" Harris, Sr. and Edna Russell Harris; his grandparents, Rufus, Ellie Russell, James H. and Fannie Harris; and his brother-in-law Clarence Trull, Jr..
He is survived by: his sister Lisa Harris Trull of Canton; his nieces and nephews, Leanne Trull of Canton and J. R. Trull (Shelby) of Canton; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Athens, Isaiah Warren, Noah Phillips, Hudson, Lilah and Myles Trull. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
