He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hawkins and Miriam Pinner Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Summey Hawkins; his sons, Jay Hunter Hawkins of New Orleans, Louisiana and Jason London Hawkins of New Orleans, Louisiana; and his sister Donnie Lockleer of Jacksonville.
