He is survived by: his wife Denise Summey; his sisters, Margie Ann Gunter of Canton and Kathy Summey of Waynesville; his stepdaughters, Teressa Harvey of Clyde, Heather Early of Rocky Mount, NC and Jennifer Sluder (Denise Sluder); and his nephews, Sam, Mickey, Steven Pless, Jonathan and Wayne Jenkins. He is also survived by several cousins and many close friends.
