He is survived by: his children, Renee McCurry (Kenneth) of Spruce Pine and Bryan Cooper (Becky) of Burnsville; his grandchildren, Kaleb McCurry (Bailey), Grayson McCurry (Becca), Emmalee McCurry, Bryson Cooper (Hannah), Brinkley Seaton Brooklyn Cooper (Zeke) and Brianna Cooper; his great grandchildren, Whitley McCurry and Bryar Seaton; and his brothers, Gary Cooper (Vanetta) of Asheville and Steve Cooper (Frieda) of Travelers Rest, SC.. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
