He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Sheridan and Pearl Fender Buckner; his wife Betty Ballard Buckner; his siblings, Tommy, Johnny, Jack Buckner and Doris Buckner; and his sister-in-law Jessie Buckner.
He is survived by: his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Sharon Buckner; his granddaughter Brandi; his grandson-in-law Stephen Young; his grandson Johnathon; his granddaughter-in-law Taylor Buckner; his great grandchild Grayson Hugh Buckner; his siblings, Donald Buckner (Rachel) and Iva Nell Buckner; his siblings-in-law, Peggy, Barbara Buckner and Shelby Ballard (Loretta); and his close friend Martha Hensley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
