It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold D. Grindstaff (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonus Grindstaff and Edna Huskins Grindstaff; his son John Grindstaff; and his sister-in-law Janet Harris Grindstaff. He is survived by: his son David Grindstaff (April); his granddaughter Jessica Tipton (Michael) of Jacks Creek; his great grandchildren, Samuel and Sadie Tipton; and his siblings, Wanda McKinney (Sherrill) of Blue Rock, Judy Thomas (Danny) of Mine Creek, Jean Dobbins (Ron) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Jack Grindstaff (Judy) of Bowditch, Danny Grindstaff (Gladys) of Marion and Doug Grindstaff of Old Fort. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607.
