He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Wilson and Inez Sturgill Wilson; and his sisters, Mary Lucille Cate and Mary Louise Pruett. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ray Wilson; his stepson Johnny Dean McCurry of South Toe; his adoptive daughter Karen Morgan (Paul) of Fletcher; his great-nieces, Mary Thurman Lambert (Jeff) and Deborah Thurman Normandin (Dan); and his nephews, Will Graham (Shelley) and Thomas Thurman (Erika).
