She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Breedlove and Bessie Freeman Breedlove; and her siblings, Paulene Brawley, Joyce Eunice, Murel Calhoun, Lou May Ayers and Frank Breedlove.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd King; her children, R. V. (Sherry King), James King of Bryson City and Brenda Patton of Bryson City; her grandchildren, Joni Estep, Daniel Cloer, Adam King, Paul King, Robert Cole, Rhonda Cole and Ronnie Cole; and her siblings, Thad Breedlove of Gastonia, Byrdell Sparks of Statesville and Glenda Brendle of Bryson City. She is also survived by 10 Great grandchildren.
