He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Ruby Honeycutt Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Dot Dyer; his children, Calena Dyer Willingham (Michael Ray) of Bryson City and Clyde Thurman Dean Dyer (Jami Donovan Dyer) of Andrews; his granddaughters, Brionna Willingham Owle of Cherokee, Cami Willingham of Andrews, Shannon Lee Dyer of Andrews, Cheyenne Dyer of Andrews and Shayla Dyer of Andrews; his great grandchildren, Lily and Luke Owle of Cherokee; and his siblings, Tommy, Kenneth Dyer of Bryson City, William Dyer of Gastonia, Nell Frady and Ellen Seay of Bryson City. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dot Dyer to help with final expenses.
