He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nelson and Julia Lambert Treadway; his wife Ruth Treadway; and his siblings, Frank, Ann, Fred and Jean.

He is survived by: his brother Ted Henry Treadway; his son Scott Cody (Vida); his grandchildren, Thomas, Taylor Cody and Isabella Sellers (Will); his great grandchild Dwayne Sellers; and his son Larry Roland.
