She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilliard Howell and Fetzer Sherrill Howell; her husband James Lafayette Parton; and her siblings, Hilda, Helen, Ronald and Bill.
She is survived by: her son Woody Parton (Denise) of Rural Hall, NC; her granddaughter Kayla Khan (Jamil) of Charlotte; her great grandchild Asher; her nieces, Sherry Ann Christopher and Brenda Shook; and her nephew Steve Howell.
