She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jhon Gardner Parris and Clinton Chambers; her son Roger Parris; her parents, France Harvey Hyde and Lottie Mae Green; and her siblings, Florence Hyde, Flora Laws, Edith Bradley, Janette Ball, Vance Hyde, Odell Hyde and Roby Leonard Hyde.

She is survived by: her siblings, Lexie Millsaps, Betty Kirkland and Grover Hyde. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
