He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnne Perry Foster; his parents, Juanita Holt Foster and Lewis Foster; and his siblings, Bobby Foster and Sylvia Foster McAteer.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Larry McAteer; his nieces and nephews, Tracie Allison Caudill, Penny Foster Gray (Dean), Craig Allison and Todd Foster (Susanne); his aunts, Ann Clark, Pat Steadman of Raeford, NC and Charlotte Davis of Southern Pines; and his cousin John Gallagher (Chris). He is also survived by 5 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 3 great great nieces, and several cousins.
