She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Shook and Marie Anthony Shook; her husband Ray Lester; and her sister Winona Winchester Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Lester Price (Robert) of Sylva, Robbin Monteith (Paul) of Bryson City and Kenneth Lester of Bryson City; her grandchildren, Brant T. Price (Lynn), Scot C. Price (Amanda Snow) and Carly Michael (Phillip Brooks Michael); her niece Sherry Smith (Rollon); and her nephew Shawn Winchester (Debbie).
