It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Bennie Lee Pittman (Bryson City, North Carolina), who passed away on July 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dillard Stephenson and Agnes Lindsay Stephenson; her grandparents, David R. Lindsay and Nora Carson Lindsay; her husband Richard C. Pittman; her sons, Richard S. Pittman (Kimberley Douthit-Pittman) and Eric J. Pittman (Joan Buchanan-Pittman); and her grandchildren, Harry, Victoria Pittman Hogue, Eric Buchanan, Jessica Buchanan-Queen and Logan McCall.
