He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Allen Howell and Jamie Sechler Howell; his son Chad Allen Howell; his wife Sandra Mae Wikle; and his sister Charlene Sine.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Wilson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great- grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
