He is survived by: his children, Lorie Cooley (David) of Bryson City, Tony Malone of Fountain Inn, SC and Sammy Malone (Stephanie) of Woodruff, SC.; his grandchildren, James, Miranda, Josh and Melody Cooley; and his great grandchildren, Lily and Alik Maddox.
