She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mae Minerva DeHart Breedlove and Glen Buford Breedlove; her husband Gary V. York; her children, Debbie Matthews of Sylva, Becky Cochran (Lonnie) of Bryson City and Randy Cunningham (Sandy) of James Town; her stepson Mike York (Jennifer) of Whittier; and her siblings, Alvin Breedlove (Maude), Violet Winchester, Hazel Welch and Jean Brooks (Don). She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
