Billy Scott Smith Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Scott Smith (Bryson City, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Arthur Smith and Neal Jenkins Smith; and his sisters, Betty June Cochran and Judy E. Morgan. He is survived by: his sons, Dale Robert Smith, Billy DeWayne Smith and Darren Scott Smith; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Miranda Griffis, Dakota Scott Smith and Chase Scott Smith; his siblings, Bobby Jack Smith (Betty) and Shirley Anne Clontz (Frank); his brothers-in-law, Max Cochran and Andrew Morgan; and his cousin Larry Simonds. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.
