She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gurney Fields and Dorothy Wicker Fields; and her mother-in-law Sue Ann Heffner. She is survived by: her husband Guy Edward Heffner of Broadway, NC.; her aunt Sandy Carlisle of Ormond Beach; her children, Dorothy J. Keene (James Keene Jr.) of Mamers, NC. and James R. Switzer III of Broadway, NC.; her siblings, Sara Mecham (Ross Mecham Jr.) of Virginia and Wiley Fields (Anne) of Southern Pines, NC.; and her stepson Adam Heffner of Alabama.
