It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Goldston of Broadway, North Carolina, born in Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie James Goldston; her parents, Sarah Elizabeth Young-Spruiell and Hughie Edward Spruiell; her grandmother Mary Alice Young; her siblings, Roy Lee Young, Trina Wallace and Edna Wallace; and her great grandchild John Goldston.
She is survived by: her children, Tajuana Snipes, Tiffany Goldston-Harrington (Andrew) of Cary, NC, Tiosha Goldston of Pittsboro, NC, Walter Goldston of Sanford, NC, Christopher Griffin of Hemingway, SC and David Griffin of Sanford, NC; her siblings, Alice Alston of West End, NC, Doris Spruiell-Harris (Thomas), Sharon Spruiell-Goldston (James), Symetra Spruiell of Sanford, NC, Cynthia Spruiell-McEachin (Donald) of Sanford, NC and John Wayne Spruiell (Gwenevere) of Siler City, NC; her grandchildren, Ursula Skyy Goldston, Latisha Goldston, Kadedra Snipes, Anaiya Maye, Alexus Patterson, Sybal McCauley, Trinity Griffin, Aryianna Hall, Sayvion Burnette, Titan Hundley, Kingston Hundley, Carter Harrington, Jackson Harrington and Jacorey Allen; and her close friends, Blanch and Louis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
