He was predeceased by: his parents, Vando Morgan and Essie Brittain; his wives, Mary Ann Morgan and June Morgan; and his siblings, Norman, Brian, Lloyd Morgan, Ellen, Christine and Vivian.
He is survived by: his children, David (Terri) and Kaye Miller (Steve); his grandsons, Joshua, Jake Morgan (Laura) and Dustin Mehaffey (Chelsea); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Will and Maddux.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carr's Hill Baptist Church building fund.
