He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Monroe Holden and Eunice Cathleen Ward Holden; his wife Gayla Hope Holden; his daughter Trisha Riddle; and his son-in-law Larry Riddle.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Holden (Deb) of Seneca, SC, Kevin Holden (Laura) of Balsam Grove, Kris McCall (Erika) of Brevard and Ravonda Ball of Asheville; his brothers, Billy Holden (Hazel) of Lake Toxaway and Harry Holden (Debra) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Christie, Karyn, Michael, Kerry, Abby, Eli, Hunter, Benjamin and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Norah, Sarith and Nate.
