He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kindall Jones and Rhoda Juanita Heath Jones; his son Edward Kindall Jones; and his sister Mary Jane Howard. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Holden Jones; his daughter Anita Jones Purdy (Mark) of Concord, NC; his brother Bob Jones (Lucy) of Cedar Mtn; and his granddaughters, Lindsey Rice, Michaela Rice and Savannah Purdy.
