She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Emmons and Gladys Parke Emmons; her former husband Dale McCarty; and her siblings, Marilyn, Claudia, David and Michael.
She is survived by: her husband Jose; her daughters, Mindy Galbrath (Sam) of Lincolnton, NC, Melissa Breedlove (Jerry) of Anderson, IN and Marilyn Kohl (Henry) of Syracuse, IN; her grandchildren, Megan Walstra, Ashly Cruz, Ken Galbrath, Anna Galbrath, Kirstie Kohl and Amy Hoskins; and her siblings, Malcolm Emmons (Chris) of LaFayette, IN and Phyllis Emmons of Lafayette, IN.. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
