He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Davis and Pluma Davis; his siblings, Mona Lee Lenegar and James Dale Davis; and his son-in-law Jason Eilers.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Misenheimer Davis; his children, Amy Davis Eilers of Sylva and J. Michael Davis of Los Angles; his grandsons, Julian Talley and Jacob Eilers of Sylva; and his siblings, Lora Joan Jenkins (Jack), Charles Everett and Paul Thomas of Wellston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
