With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Raymond Balding of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Steven Floyd Balding; and his grandparents, Jim, Macie Peterson, Floyd and Pauline Balding.

He is survived by: his parents, Arvil Raymond Balding and RoAnn Peterson Balding of Brevard, NC; his daughter Madison O'Neal Della Balding of Arden, NC; his sister Lisa Balding Fort of Brevard, NC; his nephew Aaron Fort of Brevard, NC; his aunts, Kay Powell (Gary) of Pisgah Forest, NC and Veda Elliott (Jay) of Hickory, NC; and his uncle Charles Peterson (Bev) of Lincoln, NE..

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to support Mark's daughter, Madison Balding PO Box 134 Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
