She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hill Parsons and Fanny Belle Anderson; and her husband Coolidge Powell. She is survived by: her children, Rachel Cash (late Earl), James Whitmire (Bobbi), Paulette Aiken (Donald), Steve Whitmire (Nina) and Sheila Burnette (David); her stepson Lee Powell (Kathy); her nephew Steve Smitha (Kathy); her nieces, Ann Hinojosa of Indianapolis and Trish Miller; and her close friends, Mary Ann of Columbia, SC. and Louise of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 14 great, great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
