She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lewis Murr; her children, Ray (Dawn Murr) of Pisgah Forest, Anita (Brian Stamey) of Rose Hill, NC and Chris (Angie Murr) of Brevard; her siblings, Joan (Leo Bracken) of Wallace, NC, Nancy (Tom Spaulding) of Charlottesville, VA, Hurshell Owen of Brevard, Violet Allision and Truman Owen; and her parents, Harley Owen and Ellen Owen. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
