He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sidney Rufus Hillman and Victoria Louella Thomas; his sisters, Jane Gerard, Martha Tokarczyk and Dorothy; his wife Anita; his children, James Hillman Jr. and Victoria Shuford (Kent); and his grandchildren, Jacob Shuford, Holly Shuford and Sara Shuford. He was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
